Same season as the rest of the Ceará coast: trades July to January, strongest August to December. Wind fills late morning and holds roughly 12:30 to 5pm. What changes is the mouth of the Jaguaribe river: on the right tide it forms pools and channels of flat water, sheltered from the open sea, sandy bottom, waist deep. Freestyle water. Much of the session depends on the tide table, not just the wind; check both before you head out. At high tide it shifts toward chop and small waves. Quiet spot, few people, lean infrastructure. That is why people go.
